MY LITTLE PONY Fair 2014 Costume Contest!

The 2014 MY LITTLE PONY Fair has ended and was a great success with record breaking attendance! I couldn't be more pleased with how everything came together after putting so much work into the event. There were so many great moments at this year's event and hopefully, I'll be blogging more frequently to document them all.

First off, Crumlic Media posted a video of the MY LITTLE PONY Costume Parade and Contest that really showcases all of the amazing costumes that people created this year. I mean, WOW! The costumes this year were unparalleled.

MY LITTLE PONY POP line is coming to the MY LITTLE PONY Fair!

The MY LITTLE PONY Fair is thrilled to announce that the MY LITTLE PONY POP line is coming to MY LITTLE PONY Fair 2014. While the MY LITTLE PONY POP line won’t officially hit stores until fall, Hasbro is sponsoring a special hands-on play experience, in which attendees will have the opportunity to create and customize their own pony using easy-to-assemble figures and fun accessories!

This fall, the beloved MY LITTLE PONY brand will ‘pop’ into a new category of play that, for the first time ever, lets fans create and customize their own ponies. The MY LITTLE PONY POP line is an assortment of easy-to-assemble figures and a playset  for children to build and personalize every aspect of their pony friend - from funky hairstyles, to colorful outfits, customized cutie marks, patterned wings and all of the accessories in between!

MLP Fair Weekend General Admission Have SOLD OUT! General Admission Passes for Saturday ONLY are still available!

The My Little Pony Fair has had a banner year for ticket sales. While this is very exciting and means there will be plenty of pony fans in attendance, it also means that the events scheduled for Friday such as the Hasbro Tour and The My Little Obsession movie premiere are at capacity. Adult and child general admission tickets are still available through our eventbrite ticketing system for the main day of the Fair on Saturday. Online ticket sales will end on Friday July 1st. Official 2010 My Little Pony Fair Date and Location Announcement!

I’m excited to announce the date and location of this year’s seventh annual My Little Pony Fair and Convention!

The 2010 MLP Fair will take place July 17th and 18th at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.

Home of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville offers a central location for those driving and a major airport. Driving times from several major cities can be found here.

The Galt House Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Louisville on the riverfront within walking distance to multiple restaurants, museums, and nightlife entertainment including Fourth Street Live, Waterfront Park, and Slugger Field. The Galt House offers a direct shuttle to and from the Louisville International Airport. The convention will take place in the Galt House’s newly renovated ballroom with over 13,000 square ft. of space. The Fair has a discounted room block reserved for MLP Fair and Convention guests at the hotel. Details about reserving rooms in the block will be posted soon, as the hotel is still processing the request.

This year promises to be an exciting event collectors won’t want to miss!

More Hasbro Tour Footage

While I'm waiting for things to calm down enough to find time to blog, here's another video we took of Bonnie Zacherle discussing My Little Pony during the 2008 MLP Fair Hasbro Tour. Also, if you have a specific footage request from the Providence Fair, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Purple Pajama Press: Up and Running

I have every intention of uploading video clips from the Hasbro tour and the various panel discussions from the MLPFair, but I'm currently having some technical difficulties with my video editing software. Matt is on the case and hopefully I'll have something to share by tomorrow.

I also wanted to mention, to those of you familiar with the Purple Pajama Press website (http://www.purplepajamapress.com/), I've redirected the URL to point to a new blog format. This will allow me to keep everyone up-to-date on the newest information on my books and keep all of the information in one easy to access location. I plan to have a section dedicated to reviews and articles about the books up by the end of the week. In addition, an error and omission section will be up and running soon. If you happen to come across an error or omission in one of my books, I encourage you to report it so it can be fixed in the future.

MLP Scrapbook

I spent Saturday afternoon packing all of the items I'm bringing to the Fair. It was like My Little Pony exploded on my dining room table. I also put the pictures from the San Francisco Pony Fair and the Pony Live pictures in my MLP scrapbook. I ordered some more prints this morning so I can finish the MLPC section. I'm planning on bringing the scrapbook to the Fair for others to check out. There are so many collectors in it, they are bound to find themselves or at least someone they know. Here's a sneak peak:
